To be able to equip Moscow’s highest lounge with Gerber humidors is already a very special title that we wear with pride.
The final work has not yet been completed, but we are already imagining how we might smoke a wonderful „Olivia“ with a melancholy view of the Kremlin, while devoting ourselves to the eternally young Anna Karenina.
Above the rooftops of Moscow
The lounge in Moscow will receive 6 wonderful handmade Gerber humidors from our manufactory in Duisburg. 4 of the built-in cigar cabinets are made in such a way that the humidors can be connected to form a piece of furniture in just a few steps. The individual manufacturing in our own workshop allows us to adjust the cigar cabinets exactly to the needs of the customer. Thus, the humidors can be transported individually and assembled into a whole on site in Moscow. The 4 cabinets form the centerpiece of the lounge in Moscow and are suitable for storing loose cigars as well as cigar boxes.
Collectors with passion
Two more cigar cabinets for the beautiful lounge high above the rooftops of Moscow are reserved for private collectors. Guests can rent individual drawers there and store their very own private cigar favorites in a genuine Gerber humidor. Nestled in the gentle aroma of real Spanish cedar, the cigars can mature there until they are ready to unleash their smoky fireworks of flavor.
Quality and care in the production of a humidor
Each of our humidors is „Made in Germany“; created in our family carpentry workshop, which has been producing fine furniture of unique quality for over 135 years. We veneer the finest and noblest woods from all over the world traditionally by hand; we equally love timeless, modern design and work with innovative materials from Carbon to Corian to spatulated real metals. Inside the humidors we use exclusively Spanish cedar wood. This is a very special quality feature. The open-pored, untreated wood can absorb the moisture inside the cigar cabinet particularly well, store it and release it again when needed. The humidors in Moscow also smell of this wonderful wood. The humidors are especially solidly designed and manufactured, so that the moisture really stays inside the humidor. There where the cigars need it to mature and taste wonderful.
The exterior of the humidors is designed entirely according to the customer’s wishes. Here in the execution of the rare and precious Riegelahorn. The so-called Riegelwuchs is actually an anomaly in the wood that gives the material its unique appearance. For the right color tone, we treated the wood by hand with a specially made stain. So the color also fits perfectly in the highest cigar lounge in Moscow.
