Occurrence: Branch forks of maple trunks, exceptionally rare in veneerable pieces, very often the pyramid is open rather than closed.
Uses: High-quality interior finishing. The veneer leaves are only available in small lengths up to a maximum of 1.20 m and are very rare. Therefore, they are used only for individual objects. A piece of furniture in this rare decor is a unique masterpiece.
Character: The wood is almost white. The veneer must be dried quickly after slicing, otherwise it will yellow under the influence of light and air.
Special features: The Y-shaped texture of the wood is reminiscent of pyramids. This pattern forms at trunk and branch forks. The veneer leaves are cut from strong forks of the maple.
